Mr Jiz P Kottukappally is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Yescalator Management and the company. Mr Jiz has 22 years of practical banking experience. Joining as a probationary officer in 1996 through his smart work, leadership , team management skills , dedication and focused result oriented approaches rose to the rank of General Manager of Catholic Syrian Bank within a short period of 20 years and was the youngest General Manager of all times at CSB. While serving as General Manager and Chief Risk Officer of Catholic Syrian Bank, opted for VRS at the young age of 45 in April,2018 for pursuing his passion in the areas of consultancy and teaching. Prior to this he has held senior management positions like Head – Credit Monitoring and Recovery, Head –Operations, Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Finance Officer , Chief of Staff, Chief Insurance Executive and Head of Strategy and Planning for CSB . Apart from holding these individual positions he was a member of most of the senior executive level committees including Asset Liability Management Committee, Credit Approval & Monitoring Committee, Human Resource Development Committee, Risk Management Committee, IT Strategy Committee , Capital Raising Committee, Product Evaluation Committee, NPA recovery committee etc.
He is a Cost and Management Accountant with additional qualifications of Masters in Business Administration , CA ( Intermediate ) and Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Advising . He holds a triple I certificate from the insurance institute of India and is also a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers. Mr Jiz has been a member on the management committee of various educational and social organizations like Member , Board of Studies , Dept of Economics, SB College , Changanacherry, President, Parents Teachers Association, Assisi Vidyaniketan Public School , Chembumukku, Secretary, Thrissur Chapter of ICWA, Management Committee Member, Thrissur Bankers Club and Management Committee Member, Thrissur Chapter of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. He contributes articles on banking and financial matters in leading business magazines and is also an invitee to various seminars and panel discussions on topics of banking, finance and management conducted by various management institutes and trade organisations.
